WOWOWOWOWOWOW OK SO REAL TALK. I don't live in WI anymore, I moved to NC. And there are a few things I deeply miss and have when I go to visit: one, a massive Bloody Mary. I don't drink anymore so I aimed my brunch pick on a photo of a bloody with a deviled egg. Boy did I choose well. From the moment we walked in until we left: impeccable service. Quick delivery, kind waiter, and friendly but not TOO friendly. All of our food and drinks came quickly, even though the restaurant was busy-ish for a Saturday morning. Vibes were great! Not too loud and just the right amount of buzz. My dad got eggs, pancakes, fruit and chicken sausage: everything was great! I, the foodie, first enjoyed my tangy and zesty Bloody Mary and toppings. Mmmmm spicy and perfect! They make yogurt in house and after a lot of eggs earlier in the week, I wanted fruit too. The Mad Style Yogurt was BOMB: creamy, fresh fruit, DELICIOUS banana bread! And the Mad Reds were excellent: well seasoned and perfectly cooked. My only complaint was that I assumed there wouldn't be a half of jalapeno on the potatoes...and I popped it in my mouth and nearly died. That one is on me, and while I can handle spice, I don't recommend it at 9am. Go forth and go Mad Style!

I have ordered eggs benedict at every breakfast place I've been to for the last 12 years. This is the BEST eggs Benedict I have ever had. Lick the plate worthy. No literally, I licked the plate. The server was personable. The food came out quick. My partner ordered the chicken and waffles and was just as satisfied. Decor is bright. Music is good. I can't recommend this place enough. I've never even written a yelp review, but I'm pulling my phone out at the table because this place deserves it.

Excellent and abundant food, super friendly staff providing great service, and great ambiance

Mad Rooster is a popular breakfast spot, and making a reservation for a large table was convenient, though we did have to wait a bit upon arrival--not a huge deal. The menu is extensive, and the portions are huge, which was a nice surprise. The food overall was pretty good, but the bacon was a major disappointment--nobody at our table could eat it because it was so rubbery. Despite that, it seems like a well-loved spot in the area. I would go back again.

Pancakes are super yummy but I was taking a poop and some guy came in grunting like he was either consitpated or dying and I honestly felt bad but I wasn't just gonna give up my stall? Like hello? I'm busy too bro, so don't use the bathrooms but otherwise pretty good.

Pros: The service and food Cons: I suspect it can get busy Details: Another Yelp recommendation that was great. We went here on our visit to Milwaukee and on our drive out to Madison. It is really close to the stadium. The food is mexican/american style, at least for breakfast when we went. The space is pretty big, but I can imagine it gets busy. We were most impressed with the service. The food was great, really high quality and not insanely expensive. I can see us making this a typical stop when visiting town. The portions were large. We tried, but none of us were able to completely clear our plates.

Found this place on Yelp and wanted to eat some breakfast before the Brewers/Cubs game this afternoon. Menu has a wide variety of breakfast items so there is a lot to choose from. T had the Greek omelette with fruit and pancakes. The fruit was sweet and fresh and the omelette was delicious. I had the pigs in a blanket. The sausage was excellent with just enough spice to balance the syrup for the pancakes the butter was whipped and easy to spread, not cold and impossible. The service was excellent and the food came out fast. They do Waitlist, so you know how long the wait is going to be. Definitely worth checking out if you're looking for a nice, cozy spot for breakfast.

Many options on this menu along with GF pancakes which I can hardly find! A perfect stop on our way through Milwaukee for a baseball game. Service at Mad Rooster is attentive and personable, adding to the overall enjoyable experience. The atmosphere is bustling yet relaxed, making it ideal for both casual outings and special occasions. Whether you're a local or just passing through, Mad Rooster is a brunch spot that promises a memorable culinary adventure.

My husband and I chose to celebrate a small milestone with brunch at Mad Rooster and we were so happy with this decision! It had been years since I had actually been at Mad Rooster, usually opting for takeout instead due to how crowded the restaurant gets and how long the wait times are. The key for us on this Sunday morning was joining the waitlist via Yelp before we even left our house and timing our arrival to coincide with what the waitlist said. Once we got to the restaurant, we still waited about 10 minutes, but it was much better than people who joined the list at the restaurant. Once we were seated, we had swift service. We got water immediately and our waitress checked on us a couple times (but not in a rushing way) to get our orders. I got the seasonal sangria and my husband enjoyed a Peach Bellini. Both were very good and I would easily get both of them again as summery fruity brunch cocktails. For brunch, I am a total savory meal with a sweet side and thank God my husband is willing to go along with this! He got a breakfast burrito with a side of fries, I got the chilaquiles with a side of baby red potatoes, and got a full serving Nutella banana crepes to share between us. The crepes were OUTSTANDING - filled to the brim with Nutella and bananas and a side of whipped cream. They're plenty sweet on their own, but I liked them a lot with some syrup as well which came out warm! My husband liked his burrito, which I didn't try. But the seasoning on the fries he got were very good! My chilaquiles were fantastic - some chips were crispy and some were more loaded with toppings. The flavor was definitely there. The over medium eggs were perfectly cooked with a slightly runny yolk. The baby red potatoes were equally delicious with a little more salt that I added.
